Beautiful entry Moongazy, thanks for sharing.

Have you read any of this: http://www.cultureofhonouring.co.uk/index.php?pid=5 I haven't read their stuff on the feminine, but their approach to the masculine is quite inspiring.

You are a beautiful soul. You give and expect nothing in return. You know what love is. Right now you are not deploying your power in any fixed direction, but don't let that detract from everything you do for people every day.

I hope that your trip doesn't take your mind off things. I hope, as you sit on the mountain and reflect on everything, from a distance, you'll realise a yearning in your heart that will bring new joy into your life.

Have a great trip!

Thank you both for your comments. It is encouraging for me to have feedback. I wish the Guardian well in trying to understand this area - I still find that I am walking in the dark, but the journey is exciting!
I agree with Alan, especially the remark about the 'real teachers', and how much we learn from those around us. As the Guardian has quoted in his latest post, how we react to other people shows us so much of what may need to be looked at in ourselves.

I've found that 'gurus' are acting from ego. They feel superior to those they teach, and in the process, they forget what they're there to teach.

The real teachers are often those who don't need titles to help define who they are. They know themselves, and they know what they can teach. That is enough.

And often, we learn from those just like us. I think all of us are both teachers and students. We teach and we learn simply by doing what is true to us.

Another beautiful entry. Thought provoking too.

As you know, the issues you discuss are relevent questions for me.

I think my desire for a teacher, a recognised path, comes from a desire for continuity. If it has worked before, then perhaps there is wisdom and power that I can learn. If I join that path, then perhaps I can have an effect on those around me, and on later generations.

But then, I also want to keep to my own authentic path. I want to be proud of who I am, and I don't want to be dominated by the ideas of another. I agree with what you've said here.

You have much, much more experience than I. I intend to steer my course that may encorporate both. Perhaps when I have learned more, I will better understand how one is supposed to navigate this area.

Thank you.
